With Sonic Frontiers just weeks away, SEGA has released the official story trailer for the game. For $69.99, you’ll get the base game (digital only) along with the Explorer’s Treasure Box, a digital art book with a 25-track digital mini soundtrack, and an Adventurer’s Treasure Box containing skill points, Red Seeds of Power and Blue Seeds of Power. Completing challenges in Cyber Spaces helps you obtain Chaos Emeralds to help you progress further into the game. Portal Gear is another collectible type of object, typically dropped by bosses, that can be used to open portals to Cyber Spaces, strange digital worlds - linear stages with multiple objectives - that are based on Sonic’s memories.

Memory Tokens are a collectible that can be used to free his friends. This Box includes Amy’s Memory Tokens, a Portal Gear, Chaos Emerald Vault Keys and additional shoes and gloves for Sonic. Pre-ordering the Standard Edition of Sonic Frontiers will get you the base game, either physical or digital, as well as the Adventurer’s Treasure Box to give you a boost in your journey across Starfall Islands. There are two different Editions of the game available: the Standard Edition for $59.99 and the Digital Deluxe Edition for $69.99. This week, however, the game went available for pre-order.

Cyloop allows Sonic to leave a trail when he circles enemies or points of interest, resulting in certain discoveries or moves. These skills include dodges, counters, parries, combos, and the new Cyloop ability. Sonic Frontiers is a game highly anticipated by players on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and Nintendo Switch.If until now very little information was available for this new episode of the Sonic license, Nintendo has revealed release dates for many titles like Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope or even Sonic Frontiers. It also appears that Sonic can now use different abilities via a skill tree, making Sonic Frontiers an RPG as well, allowing players to mix and match certain abilities as they please. The Starfall Islands are filled with amazing open spaces and challenging speed platforming zones for Sonic to tackle, while the Cyber Spaces are the usual “Sonic” 3D platformer levels.
Sonic Frontiers will take place in both the open worlds of the Starfall Islands and various Cyber Space levels.
